Valentina Anania, IDSA
Chair, IDSA San Francisco Chapter| 2020-2021
Valentina Anania, IDSA has a multidisciplinary background. She is a certified architect, but she has been working in industrial design since the beginning of her career in Milan, Italy. In 2006 she started her design studio and had the opportunity to work and live in several countries. She has designed for major Italian design companies and now, here in the US, she works in industrial design as well as architecture, branding, and strategy, challenging the highly specialized perspective of the SF Bay Area. She has a passion for details, materials, and finishes, and she has made design a lifestyle.
As Chair of the IDSA-San Francisco chapter, Valentina is looking forward to talking about design from several different perspectives. She is planning to create several occasions for exchange and cooperation with other design communities and to re-connect people and cultures under a mutual passion for design.
She received an architecture and design degree, cum laudae, from Politecnico di Milano, a master’s in furniture design, and an MBA, cum laudae, from 24ORE Business School, University of Florence.
