Originally from Portsmouth in England, Thomas Groom now lives with my partner in Chicago — but he still puts ketchup on my hotdogs! Thomas is a double-major in graphic and industrial design, with a minor in new media arts. He is obsessively interested in exploring the intersection of design, technology, and the humanities. Thomas loves looking at design through a speculative lens and has a keen interest in how design can be used as a tool to benefit the future of communities, society, and humanity. He regularly finds inspiration in the work of Kenya Hara, Metahaven, and Anthony Dunne & Fiona Raby.
