Scott N Barton has worked in the medical device industry since 1995. He is a technically skilled and highly accomplished medical device professional. He has led engineering, marketing and advanced product development. He has experience writing protocol and test development and has benefited from personal interaction with hundreds of surgeons and medical professionals in the course of 10 years of concept preference testing, iterative prototype evaluation and FDA-mandated usability/validation testing. He has established comprehensive market assessments, innovative product solutions and succinct executive presentations. He has successfully adapted and excelled in different business environments: innovative start-up, cost focused and leading manufacturer.
His recent project work includes: team leader for a capital equipment project, product marketing manager for two product launches and principal industrial designer for eight surgical carts, three capital equipment devices, and 10 single use/disposable surgical instruments to name just a few.

He has been associated with over 20 product releases, holds six patents, and has lectured and presented on medical device product development. Barton received his bachelor’s from Ohio State University and MBA from Xavier University.
