Reenu Singh is an experienced industrial designer and researcher with a diverse background in research, patenting, physical prototyping and teaching. Her professional journey spans academia, to entrepreneurship. Reenu uses a design-thinking approach to develop user-centered products that help solve social problems. Her work ranges from designing kitchen appliances for domestic use, and assistive devices for the elderly to tools for construction workers. She has also worked in the area of sustainable design and has developed solutions for the reuse of disposed wood, metal and tire waste.
With a PhD in Product Design and Ergonomics from the Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai, she strives towards merging scientific research with pragmatic solutions. Her passion for data-driven insights and a successful track record in academia and business help her bring a distinctive combination of skills, creativity, and managerial expertise to every project. She holds a product patent for a System for Assisting a User in Getting up from Bed and another patent for an Adjustable Apparatus for Painting is currently underway.
