Prasad Joshi, IDSA

Prasad Joshi, IDSA Designer, Laut Design Prasad Joshi is an alumnus of NC State College of Design. He received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering followed by a Masters in Industrial Design in 2018. He will soon celebrate four years as a designer at Laut Design, a design consultancy in Raleigh, NC. Prasad loves creative problem solving and has designed for multiple medical devices, outdoor gear, workout equipment and consumer products. He holds two patents, the most recent being for a bassinet design. He also enjoys teaching and is willing to jump on any opportunity to give back to the Industrial Design community. In his free time, he is most likely to be found hiking somewhere in the mountains across the US. While in school, he was President of IDSA – NC State Student Chapter, and now he is excited to be the professional IDSA-RDU board member.
