Michigan Chapter Vice Chair West 2013-2015
Paul Martus is a hands-on Designer that continually seeks new Informational-Experiences. Born in the suburbs of Detroit he attended undergrad at College for Creative Studies focusing on Graphics, Industrial Design and a healthy shop experience. He managed the CCS Foundry while attending Cranbrook Academy of Art where he received a Masters in 3D Design. Working in West Michigan he helped develop Award winning seating for Mass Transit, Education and other public arenas. Becoming increasingly interested in the merger of Design Thinking with Business he furthered his education at FSU, Kendall College of Art and Design and received a MBA Certificate in Design and Innovation Management. Paul has taught at both CCS and Kendall and encourages the next generation to follow their passion, focus on their “User,” and to make a difference. Currently, he works at Newell Rubbermaid in Kalamazoo.
