Niell is an industrial design professional with a passion for the prototyping process and a love of learning. With interests ranging from design history to plastic recycling and prosthetics, he focuses on the "why" of each project to uncover new opportunities. Currently, he consults with companies and individual inventors at the Ion Prototyping Lab in Houston's growing innovation district, where he works to turn ideas into functional, refined prototypes that are ready to scale. He is motivated to help expand opportunities for designers in the Bayou City through involvement in IDSA HTX and mentoring for the RED Labs startup accelerator.
