Originally from Colorado, Kelsey moved to Washington for a change of scenery and opportunity. She comes from an eclectic work background, having studied pottery and worked as an artist, trail builder, wilderness therapy guide, and arts and sustainability educator in the non-profit sector. Kelsey believes that design has the power to provide answers to questions surrounding not only tangible needs but also emotional and cultural ones. She thinks good design elevates an experience and lends a sense of humanity to a user, and great design goes a step further, addressing the holistic environmental, societal, and cultural conditions as well.
