Kelly Ramirez is the CEO of Social Enterprise Greenhouse and has taught or teaches social enterprise at Rhode Island School of Design, University of Michigan Ross School of Business, Salve Regina University, Providence College and Brown University’s Leadership Institute.
Previously, Ramirez directed the Social Enterprise Initiative at the William Davidson Institute and consulted with organizations including Aid to Artisans, Ford Foundation, European Commission, USAID and Roche. She served in the Foreign Service and Peace Corps.
Ramirez received MA degrees in public policy and in urban planning—and a BA in political science—from the University of Michigan. She was named a Providence Business News Woman to Watch; a 2014 BALLE Fellow; and serves on the Rhode Island Governor’s Council of Economic Advisors.
