John Suh is vice president of Hyundai Ventures, which focuses on making strategic investments and business partnerships in the United States for the Hyundai Motor Group. Hyundai Ventures’ invests and partners along five themes: the connected car; ecofriendly technologies; intelligent systems and manufacturing technology; new business models for personal mobility; and smart cities.
Previously, Suh worked at General Motors, Xerox PARC (Palo Alto Research Center) and Silicon Valley startups where he has had roles in corporate investing, product management and R&D.
Suh holds a BS degree in electrical engineering from Kettering University and an MS and PhD degrees in mechanical engineering from Stanford University.
