Industrial Designer, Daedalus
Joe McCarry is an industrial designer at Daedelus, a consltancy firm in Pittsburgh, PA. He develops products for a wide range of markets, including consumer products, medical devices, gas detection, and safety equipment. At the begininng of his career, he worked for Michael Graves Design Group, designing products that ranged from medical equipment to consumer product lines. Later he moved to 4moms, designing high-tech baby gear. Following that, he was the lead of golf equipment for Dick's Sporting Goods.
Joe graduated in 2006 from Philadelphia University with a BS in Industrial Design. This is his first position as board member for an IDSA professional chapter.
