Industrial Designer
Jody Ingle, IDSA is an experienced industrial designer and social innovator focused on community and environmental impact. He previously worked at Ford and Lincoln Motor Company as an interior designer, developing iconic nameplates like Mustang, Taurus, Continental, Navigator, Corsair, and Aviator.
Ingle earned his BA in art history from Rollins College in 2004, and his BFA from the College for Creative Studies in 2009. He serves on several boards as a trustee, including the The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, The College for Creative Studies, and The University Liggett School. Additionally, he serves as a director on the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce and The Detroit Institute of Arts, as well as on the Friends of Fine Prints, Drawings, and Photography board.
As Chair of the IDSA Detroit chapter, Ingle will focus on bringing in new and relevant topics and relationships that can help to fuse and empower the local design community. He aims to unite the community around a shared passion to create, collaborate, and build a better future for all.
