Jamison Float had dreams of becoming a doctor, then discovered he passed out at the sight of blood. Instead, he focused his attention on a biomedical engineering degree from Case Western Reserve University—combining mechanical and electrical engineering with life sciences.
After working for a couple of medical device manufacturers, Float moved to Columbus, OH, discovered product design—and was hooked. The senior biomedical engineer for Priority Designs develops medical devices and supports internal teams. The variety of clients and projects provides continued growth and constant learning. Float has an innate ability to find focus in immense detail, and align teams with projects ranging from conceptual design and strategy—to electro-mechanical systems, biomechanics and more.
