Ginger Woo, IDSA

Fluke Corporation Ginger Woo is a graduate of the University of Washington, now working at Fluke Corporation. She has been involved with the IDSA since she was a student, learning from many gracious mentors in the organization that have been generous with their time. Woo has been looking for a way to serve this community and welcome newcomers into it. Drawing from her experience organizing events with the student chapter of IDSA, it feels natural to her to continue that work: building an inclusive community that strengthens connections for students and professionals alike.

Ginger has been involved with IDSA since she was a student, learning from many gracious mentors in the organization that have been generous with their time. Drawing from her experience organizing events with the student chapter of IDSA, it feels natural to her to continue that work of building an inclusive design community through service as Vice Chair of IDSA’s Women in Design Seattle Chapter. In 2022, Ginger co-founded a podcast called “Beyond Ray” which hosts conversations with women industrial designers. It is a platform for revealing the anecdotes, catastrophes, achievements, 180 pivots and true passion that drives people to their most creative selves.
