Born in Lima, Peru, but raised primarily in the United States, Gabriel Pimentel has always been fascinated by sketching and creating since childhood. With a background in soft goods, he is interested in the intersection between innovation and creative self-expression. During his studies at SJSU, a PLC masterclass led him to a rotational footwear design apprenticeship with Vans, The North Face, Altra, and Timberland's Innovation team. After studying abroad at ENSCI in Paris and graduating from SJSU, Gabriel is excited about the future, fueled by gratitude, and determined to make a meaningful impact, diversify the industry, and pave the way for others.
