With an MA in strategic foresight from Regent University, Frank Spencer is the principal and creative director of the foresight, innovation and human development firm, Kedge, and the co-founder of the globally renown foresight certification program, The Futures School. He has helped leaders and organizations for the past 20 years to develop a futurist mindset, seize opportunities and cultivate aspirational growth. Spencer has inspired audiences across the world, and has helped to transform companies such as Daimler, P&G, Hasbro, Lego and The Walt Disney Company.
Think Design | Change the Future
Designers have always been in the business of change, but our increasingly volatile and complex world demands that we view the concept of change through a new lens. We can no longer approach creativity and innovation from a linear, incremental or iterative prospective, but must instead harness and leverage a more provocative and transformative way of thinking and acting if humanity is to mature. In this presentation, participants will hear how the practice of Futures Thinking and Foresight will help today’s designers to imagine new categories, reframe systems of abstraction and discover emerging ontologies.
