Drake Zahara is currently a student at Western Washington University studying industrial design and minoring in user experience design. Born in Iwakuni, Japan, and raised in Poulsbo, WA, Drake has experienced multiple cultures, which have shaped how he views design. His father, who has a small shop inside his garage, frequently tinkered with cars and electronics, deeply inspiring Drake. His mother, who loves to carefully curate household objects, helped him appreciate high-quality products. This spark in creativity and understanding beauty in everyday objects pushed Drake to pursue design.
