Cori Rowley

Design Research Senior Associate, McDougald Research Cori Rowley’s career has spanned from retail and fixture design to consumer packaged goods, manufacturing readiness. and soft good development. Her current passion point is developing collaborative work sessions that bring teams together to create meaningful change. She prides herself on client relationships and cross functional partnerships. What she finds most exciting about her work is helping people feel more human and more connected. As an industrial designer richly immersed in consumer behaviors, she has traveled the globe to understand patterns and gaps. This lifelong learning brings an empathetic gravity to her work and vision. Her diverse range of creative problem-solving skills and discovery methods have helped bring successes to various clients across many industries. Her client list includes Procter & Gamble, Pampered Chef, Crate & Barrel, Target, Buffalo Wild Wings, The Cheesecake Factory, Bath & Body Works, Princess House, Worthington Industries, and ClosetMaid. Rowley received her BFA in Industrial Design from Columbus College of Art and Design. She currently serves as IDSA OHC Chapter Chair, and is an adjunct faculty member at Columbus College of Art and Design. Beyond industrial design, Rowley and her husband own Yellowood: a lifestyle brand that restores heirloom axes and tools and hosts a variety of workshops to encourage confidence outdoors.
