Originally set on becoming a nurse, it was Colette Kocek’s high school art teacher who suggested she pursue industrial design. After learning more about it, Colette was thrilled to discover a field that combines both creative and technical thinking. Fast forward four years and Colette graduates in May (2019) with a Bachelor of Industrial Design and Minor in Sustainability. She is passionate about challenging the norm and designing for problems we face every day. After graduation Colette will travel to Thailand and Vietnam before moving to New York to pursue a career as a designer.
