Chris Lawer
Founder of Umio
Chris is the founder of Umio, the creator of the Health Ecosystem Value Design® framework and the author of the book of the same name. Umio evolved from Chris’s thirty years spent advancing innovation thinking, co-creation, systemic design and strategy. In this time, he has interviewed and engaged with thousands of patients, clinicians, policymakers and other health ecosystem actors all around the world. Chris was awarded the honorary position of Senior Fellow at the UCLA Center for Healthier Children, Families and Communities in 2019 in recognition of his work rethinking health and knowledge, value and systems.
