Chris Kim, IDSA, is a program manager at Samsung Design Innovation Center. He currently manages variety of projects and products that are not only related to Samsung’s current product portfolio (Smartphone, TV, Home Appliance, and etc), but also its futuristic experience-oriented products, platforms and services. Previously, he had worked as R&D/Manufacturing Engineer for developing new emerging products like LED backlighting, Flexible Solar panel, and Semiconducting Equipment. This year, as a treasury of IDSA SF Chapter, he will be focused on building the new chapter while supporting Chair and Vice Chair and support the design community to learn, grow and promote innovation by bringing people together
Chris graduated UC Berkeley with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering in 2005 and also earned MBA degree from Santa Clara University.
