Industrial Designer, Design Central
Carley Giles recently graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design and has a background in fine arts and graphic design. She currently works at Design Central as an Industrial Designer.
Driven by curiosity, Carley has a passion for learning about a wide range of subjects. She pulls this into design as a way to inspire new ways of thinking and facilitate creative problem solving. Carley aspires to use her work to impact both users and the earth positively. She is a dedicated advocate for the circular economy and climate conscious design and, as a result, has a focus on developing sustainable products.
As Vice Chair of IDSA Columbus, Carley looks forward to connecting the professional and student IDSA communities, as well as organizing events that will bring local designers the opportunities to learn, network, and further develop their careers.
