The Four Cs—Connect, Collaborate, Curate and Create
Throughout history, technology has influenced how we communicate and tell stories. Today, the internet has revolutionized the way we work, live, play and create together. More people are connecting, collaborating and sharing ideas around the world, faster and easier.
Graphic design has changed with this tide of technology and crowdsourcing has played a big role. Will graphic design become homogenized based on technology standards, group collaboration and mass personalization? Is there room for individual creativity? How might the way we interact and perceive design be different tomorrow?
Bill Bowen and Tom DeMay of Octane Design will discuss the future of graphic design and how mass collaboration, open source sharing, data capturing and the increased connectivity of human beings may affect design and communication.
