Ben's interest in Industrial Design transformed from an enjoyment of product aesthetics to a curiosity about technical solutions to complex design challenges. Ben is passionate about utilizing ethnographic research, ideation, and rapid prototyping (his favorite part) together to solve problems that feel unsolvable and produce bold and disruptive concepts in categories that lack innovation. The best part about Industrial Design for Ben is exposing users to new solutions and observing how tweaks to form, materiality, usability, and comfort can make a large impact. Sometimes pushing boundaries is in the details and sometimes it's about rethinking everything from the ground up.
