Partner, Lexicon Design
Ben Azzam is a Partner at Lexicon Design in Pittsburgh, PA. He currently works as a consultant, developing products for a range of markets specializing in consumer electronics, industrial tools and devices, and travel goods. Previously, he worked for RIDGID, developing professional plumbing tools and defining design strategy in Elryia, OH.
Azzam graduated in 2013 with a bachelor's in industrial design from Auburn University. He has been a member of IDSA since he was a student. This is his first chapter officer position within IDSA. This year, as Chair, Azzam will focus on connecting with the Pittsburgh design community to understand how IDSA can be most helpful and celebrate the region's strong design history. He also aims to bring new and relevant events to the Pittsburgh design community, and highlight the many design disciplines with which ID overlaps by bringing people together to learn from each other
