Industrial Designer, Stryker Medical
Ava is an Industrial Designer at Stryker Medical in the Emergency Care division. She is extremely passionate about medical design and its effects on human interactions, which allows her to practice both critical thinking and creative skills to generate solutions with a customer focused approach.
Ava earned her BFA in Product Design from the Richmond Institute of Arts at Western Michigan University, where she served as President of the IDSA Student Chapter. Ava is currently a mentor to Product Design students at WMU and maintains a strong relationship with the university. Her love of IDSA in school inspired her to be a founding member of the professional chapter for Kalamazoo, which became official in the summer of 2023.
Ava was recognized for thoughtful coordination in developing the IDSA Kalamazoo Chapter. This included working with IDSA to host a virtual event about the development of the chapter and solicitation for chapter members.
