Angela Yeh is the president & founder of Yeh IDeology LLC, a leading Design, Strategy & Innovation recruitment firm in the United States. With the understanding that culture, teamwork, and mutual understanding allow companies to operate smoothly and efficiently, Angela merged these values with her own passion for creativity and innovation to establish Yeh IDeology in order to help clients seamlessly incorporate design into their businesses and realize their full potential.
She holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Bridgeport and honed her keen eye for design at Pratt Institute’s Masters program in Industrial Design. In addition to Yeh IDeology, Angela currently teaches career strategies at Parsons The New School for Design where she mentors students and young professionals on personal development.
An active and passionate member of the design community, Angela has been affiliated with IDSA for many years. She sat on IDSA’s Board of Directors as the Northeast District Vice President from 2006 to 2007 and chaired the NYC chapter of IDSA from 2003 to 2005. She has lectured at conferences and webinars for IDSA, Design Management Institute, Lextant Design, and numerous universities across the globe including Parsons New School, Pratt Institute, Georgia Tech, Philadelphia University, and the Rhode Island School of Design.
With over 15 years of experience recruiting design talent, Angela has worked with some of the world’s most innovative leaders, companies like Arnell Group, BMW Designworks, Bose Corporation, Fisher Price, Fuseproject, IDEO, Kohler Company, Microsoft, Smart Design, Sony, and Ziba.
In her free time, she enjoys surfing, biking and delving into Sci-Fi novels.
Angela is a passionate member of the design community. She has been affiliated with IDSA for many years and, like others on this list, has served in many different volunteer roles. In 2022 she was an emcee of the International Design Conference in Seattle, WA. This was IDSA’s first major in-person event after the Covid-19 lockdown and many of us were uncertain about what to expect. With confidence and poise, Angela was the first person on stage to welcome our community back to being together and she quickly established a positive tone that endured for the entire event. Conferences large or small can become a defining moment in one’s career, and Angela encouraged our audience to take advantage of the opportunity of being together again.
