We are excited to announce that starting July 15, 2023, IDSA will be moving its headquarters to a new location: 1110 Herndon Parkway, Suite 307, Herndon VA 20170.
With this move, IDSA is embracing a new approach to office operations. Our headquarters has transitioned into a remote office, while maintaining a small operational hub at the new location. This strategic shift allows us to optimize our resources and prioritize the needs of our programming initiatives.
While the physical difference may not be substantial as the new office is located across the street, the impact is significant. It aligns with our long-term plan, which began in January 2020, to modernize our IT infrastructure and increase agility. This plan included right-sizing our office space, reducing our footprint by over 50%. These cost savings played a part in navigating the initial uncertainties caused by the pandemic.
Throughout the pandemic, we leveraged the opportunity to hire the best talent regardless of their location. Now, we have fully embraced the remote workforce model, further downsizing our footprint by nearly 2/3. This transformation allows us to focus our financial resources on serving the community during these challenging times.
We are excited about this new chapter and the impact it will have on our ability to support and engage with the design community.
