Simply put, we must maintain a resilient mindset to achieve our goals in nearly every aspect of our lives.
Design resilience can be a powerful tool, helping leaders adapt more quickly to changes, iterate on their strategies, and respond more precisely to setbacks. By leveraging a resilient mindset for adaptation and iteration, leaders, design practitioners, and educators can effectively forecast future scenarios and maintain a positive view when navigating uncertainty. If there is anything that the projects and individuals highlighted in this issue confirm, it is that design is alive and well in 2023. We are taking a proactive stance in building our future, we are learning from our past, and we are investing in the transfer of knowledge to the next generation of change makers.
