Thank you for participating in IDEA 2023 and congratulations on achieving IDEA winner recognitions. As a Gold, Silver, or Bronze winner, we have several exciting opportunities to offer you and important program details to share. This page will be updated frequently as new information becomes available.
Reminder: ALL results must be kept confidential until after announcements are made publicly on August 23, 2023. After the Ceremony presentation you may release the news of your award to the public.
IDEA 2023 Ceremony
You are cordially invited to attend the IDEA Ceremony in person on August 23, 2023 at the Marriot Marquis Times Square in New York, NY.
As part of the International Design Conference, this formal ceremony announces all of the award winners of the 2023 competition. The ceremony is followed by the IDEA Gala (generously sponsored by Samsung Design) where you can enjoy food and beverages while you mix and mingle and take pictures with the IDEA trophies.
This is a ticketed event. Register to attend in-person or watch virtually.
IDEA Winner Trophies
You will receive (1) one personalized high quality trophy for each winning design. In an effort to cut our carbon footprint, complimentary trophies will be shipped directly to you from the manufacturer. Please confirm your shipping address by July 15 here.
Additional trophies can be purchased here until September 18. The cost for each additional trophy is $600. Additional trophies ordered will be shipped in November.
Please note: Trophies will not be distributed at the in-person ceremony. We will have blank trophies at the IDEA Ceremony and Gala for photos as you receive your awards, and you won’t have to worry about packing them home from the conference with you.
IDEA Winner Logos & Certificates
Part of your winner’s reward is the use of the IDEA logo mark in collateral associated with the winning product. This may include (but is not limited to) social media, product packaging, websites, or advertisements.
Logo packages for each winning product are available with your downloadable winner certificates by logging into your IDEA account. The IDEA Award and Finalist logos are supplied in the following variations, with and without transparency. File types: .eps, .png, .jpg
Permanent Collection at The Henry Ford Museum
The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI invites all 2023 Gold, Silver, and Bronze IDEA winners whose products were shipped to the museum for judging to be entered into the permanent collection. This is a unique benefit of winning IDEA.
You are providing the item free of charge to The Henry Ford Museum. You will not be paid for the cost of the item. Winning items will not be returned unless specifically requested by the entrant by emailing [email protected] to request return.
