Join Jean-Jacques L’Hénaff, Vice President of Design for American Standard Brands, part of the LIXIL family of companies, as he explores beauty and purpose with a user-centric lens. From design convenience and practicality, to design solutions for the environment and life-changing impact, L’Henaff will draw upon award-winning projects, real world experiences and his international perspective on design challenges to bring this topic to life.
Jean-Jacques L’Hénaff is the Vice President, Design for American Standard/Lixil Water Technology Americas. Over the past four years, he has re-invented the role of design within the organization, established a user-centric approach to design, and assembled a team of 16 designers located in both New York City and Guangzhou, China. Their work for the American Standard and DXV brands has been rewarded with numerous patents and design awards.
Prior to joining the company, L’Hénaff had been a design executive for Kohler Asia, Audiovox, and Terk Technologies, and held various design management positions for consulting firms such as Henry Dreyfuss Associates and The Arnell Group in New York City. His experience ranges from designing private aircraft and subway train interiors, medical devices, consumer electronics, and kitchen and bath products.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Product and Transportation Design from L’Ecole supérieure de design industriel in Paris.
