Friday, March 15th, 2019 (The tour may go longer than an hour depending on numbers of guests and questions)
5:00-6:00pm Nordic Ware Corporate Headquarters Doors open, meet and greet. We are fortunate to have five Industrial Design graduates from UW Stout working here.
6:00-7:00pm Nordic Ware Design Studio and Factory Tour. Nordic Ware is a 73-year old, single family owned and operated, manufacturer of housewares. We design, tool, manufacture and ship almost all of our products from our St. Louis Park, Minnesota factory. We have injection molding, compression molding, metal spinning, metal stamping, CNC and vibe die-cast processing, industrial coatings, packing and shipping, all under one very large roof. Close-toed shoes required for factory tour. We will provide eye protection. Ear protection available but not required.
7:00-8:00pm Steel Toe Brewery social hour (21 and over only). We at Nordic Ware have the good fortune to be near a great local brewery! We will drive, or maybe snow shoe (snow shoes not provided!
a few blocks to Steel Toe after the Nordic Ware tour. See Makai when we get to Steel Toe to claim one, free, delicious, Steel Toe beer, paid for by IDSA. Thank you IDSA!

Directions: in case GPS does not get you to the right door. Nordic Ware is a 10-acre campus on the southeast corner of Highway 100 and Hwy7/ Hwy25. Follow the frontage road west from Beltline Boulevard. Take the fourth left. (Go PAST the Factory Outlet Store) Look for the gold-anodized aluminum & glass entryway with a huge ‘Ole the Viking’ decal. Feel free to park in the ‘Reserved’ parking spaces, they are open to all after 5pm. See attached map.
