Speakers:
Mackenzie Shaw is a strategist, researcher, design thinker and problem solver with over 19 years of experience. An Industrial Designer (by degree – OSU ‘02) with time on both corporate (Nationwide) and agency (SonicRim) design and research teams, she has developed an expertise in leveraging the intersection of user needs and business objectives to align stakeholders, influence priorities and strategy, and inspire design. She is currently a Senior Director at McDougald Research leading client services and business operations, and spends her nights and weekends producing a music festival on her family farm.
Chris Brown is an experienced sales leader with a demonstrated history of working in the design industry. He’s skilled in client relations, operations, team management, commercialization and innovation strategy. He is a strong business development professional with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from The Ohio State University. Chris is currently an account executive at Path Robotics–an artificial intelligence company focusing on the manufacturing industry.
Lea Stewart uses design to deliver wins for business and users. She is highly skilled at developing creatives and building teams that people want to work for. Her experience has stretched to develop many leadership and hard skills in product development. The common themes of her best work are bringing empathy, focus on the consumer, and the application of a world class aesthetic. She is currently a Senior Manager at Newell Brands, Baby Division, leading a global team of industrial designers and engineers to create products that bring sanity, safety, and joy to familie
