A new, reality compeition television show—to be hosted by world famous automotive designer Henrik Fisker—has issued a casting call for industrial designers. The producers of such hits as Top Chef and Project Runway are filling roles on Concept Dream Car—which they describe as a “high caliber, high prestige competition television series.”
“Are you the one?” asks Fisker, an ArtCenter transportation design alum who designed the BMW Z8, Aston Martin DB9 and V8 Vantage and his own Fisker Karma, and founded Fisker, Inc.
Producers are looking for auto designers in early or mid-career. “Do you have experience in all areas of car dsign but want to break out on your own? Could you benefit from getting in front of the ‘giants’ of the auto design world?” they ask. Required skills and experience include auto design concepts; 2D conceptual art/sketching, 3D alias rendering, clay modeling and knowledge of today’s auto design field. Producers say the winner will have the opportunity to work with Fisker.
