The IDSA San Jose (SJ) Chapter serves the networking and professional development needs of industrial designers in San Jose, California and surrounding areas. Some of the activities and events that San Jose Chapter has produced include lectures, studio tours, and collaborations with other professional design organizations. San Jose, and the adjacent Silicon Valley region, is well-known as global innovation epicenter and IDSA has been active in the area for decades.
IDSA San Jose also supports design students in the area, including San Jose State University. We encourage a strong partnership between the student chapters and the professional chapter that includes portfolio reviews, career development, and social events.
