Kalamazoo

The IDSA Kalamazoo (KZO) Chapter serves the networking and professional development needs of industrial designers in Southwest Michigan including Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Benton Harbor and surrounding areas.

The chapter was recently chartered in May of 2023 and is gathering momentum based on the growing population of industrial designers in the region. Some planned activities and events include designer meetups, studio tours, tools-of-the-trade mastery sessions, and sketch jams.

IDSA Kalamazoo also supports design students in the area, including Western University and Kendall College of Art & Design. We plan to encourage a strong partnership between the student chapters and the professional chapter with activities and events such as portfolio reviews, career development, and social events.

The chapter officers below are the founding members of the Kalamazoo Chapter and hold a two-year term.
