The 20/2X recognition program was started in 2020 as a way for us to extend our ability to shine a spotlight on IDSA members who have truly done something special for the organization. Chosen by IDSA Staff and confirmed by the At-Large Director of Awards on the Board of Directors, the annual recognition program highlights 20 Professional, Young Professional, and Affiliate members who dedicated their time and talents this year to the betterment of our Society and advancing the industrial design profession through information, education, community, and advocacy.

In 2023, IDSA celebrated a transformative year marked by significant changes—new leadership, staff, and a website relaunch, to name a few. Despite these transitions, our community thrived, thanks to the unwavering support and commitment of IDSA volunteers. This year, the dedication of our members surpassed expectations, leading us to recognize 24 individuals instead of the usual 20. Handpicked by IDSA Staff and confirmed by Board Member Sheng-Hung Lee, these Professionals, Young Professionals, and Affiliates have dedicated their time and talents this year to the betterment of our Society and advancing the industrial design profession through information, education, community, and advocacy.
