Martin Gagne, IDSA, returned to serve as a judge in the 2023-2024 edition of the International Zinc Association’s (IZA) annual Zinc Challenge. This prestigious competition encourages undergraduate students in North America to design accessories or components that harness the unique properties of zinc and the flexibility of the zinc die casting process.
This year’s theme was sustainable beauty products. Students were encouraged to design a reusable or refillable personal grooming product or beauty product container that will meet functionality requirements and look stunning.
As a judge in the 2023-2024 Zinc Challenge, Martin Gagne, IDSA, brought his expertise to evaluate the innovative designs submitted by aspiring industrial design students. View the winners here.
