The Wall for Flood Control minimizes flood damage by automatically responding to the amount of the water flow. It requires no manual operation or power source; it uses the buoyant force of water to deploy itself. As the water level increases, the wall, which normally floats, stands up, forming a barrier. When the water level is low, the wall can be used as a walkway.
