In the age of electronic entertainment, the Pathfinder Mission aims to turn the living room into a playground to let children grow up happy and healthy. The design activates the living room through furniture design. The sofa doubles as a tunnel, trampoline, and balance beam. The plywood backrest serves as both a balance beam and a crawling tunnel; the round hole on the curved plate lets the light shine in. The reinforced manganese carbon steel snake springs and rubber bands of the chaise lounge turn it into a trampoline. While the sofa gives children a playground, once the pillow is placed, it instantly transforms into a normal sofa.
