DJs and audio professionals want aesthetically pleasing products, but often see cool looks as a substitute for lesser quality. The research was designed to uncover the unique needs that arise out of stressed conditions (smoky air, spilled liquids and dim lighting). The resulting product includes complex steel geometries for a pleasing aesthetic. Tactile enhancements increase usability in low light situations and protection from spills.

• The turntables are reconfigurable to suit the user’s preference.
