GE has solved the problem of combining an oven and a microwave with the cutting edge Advantium 120, an above the cooktop oven for the home user. Sporting a simple, straight-forward design language and intelligent interface technology, the Advantium’s oven cooking time is twice as fast as conventional ovens and can be used for microwave-only cooking, reheating and defrosting. The cooking technology uses a combination of super bright halogen lamps (used in curing silicone chips) and microwave technology.
