It uses low-intensity electrical pulses to train the tongue muscles. eXciteOSA does not need to be worn at night, meaning treatment can be performed where and when convenient, greatly increasing compliance and efficacy. It only needs to be used daily for 20 minutes for six weeks to be effective. The device consists of a mouthpiece, a main unit, and an associated app. eXciteOSA adjusts the treatment plan according to the speed of improvement.
