After testing 10,000 ice cubes and 900 bananas, the IKON Blender finally solved the shortcomings of most blenders. Extra-wide blades spin parallel to the concave bowl below, thus eliminating the “dead zone” where food is often trapped. It also continually folds all ingredients, wet or dry, up the sides of the bowl and onto the blades for more consistent results. The system is so efficient that it runs at a speed 20-50 percent slower than typical blenders, making it quieter as well. After its launch, the IKON Blender immediately became the number two selling model, a telling benchmark considering it is priced above most of the top 10 best selling blenders in Australia.
