AdaptSpecs

The AdaptSpecs eyewear frame was designed for people who have difficulty wearing regular eyewear, which relies on the nasal bridge and ear as support points. It uses alternative support points instead, such as the cheekbone and curve of the head. The frames are 3D printed, which allows them to be customized for optimal fit and maximum usability not achievable with conventional mass-production methods. By adapting regular eyewear frames with a different means of support, the frames give wearers the feeling of inclusiveness. The design also considers the installation of the lenses, which can be done by any standard eyewear shop.
