The IDSA Milwaukee (MKE) Chapter serves the networking and professional development needs of industrial designers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and surrounding areas. Some of the activities and events that Milwaukee Chapter has produced include lectures, studio tours, and collaborations with other professional design organizations. In 1968, Lake Geneve, WI was the site of IDSA’s International Design Conference and Education Symposium which brought together designers from around the world for design dialogue and discourse.
IDSA Milwaukee also supports design students in the area, including Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and the University of Wisconsin-Stout. We encourage a strong partnership between the student chapters and the professional chapter that includes portfolio reviews, career development, and social events.
