Born from the desire to teach neurodiverse and socially isolated COVID-era children how to improve their social, cognitive, and emotional interactions, the Moxie robot companion embodies the next phase of human-machine communication, powering a new class of machines that is capable of fluid social interaction. Whereas humans normally have to learn how to work machines, the reverse is true with Moxie. It continuously adapts to and learns from children to support their development and provide companionship, ushering in a new era of machines that can teach humans and change how people can engage with their smart bots.
