The Breath Counter, which was designed for the Fighting Pneumonia project (a philanthropic project undertaken to better detect pneumonia in children living in developing countries), is a simple yet advanced respiration monitoring device for accurately and reliably detecting and classifying pneumonia cases. This easy-to-use solar-powered device allows healthcare workers to sample a child’s breath and classify pneumonia in just 60 seconds.
