Royden Buckfield, originally from South Africa, relocated to Boston in the last year. Graduating from University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design and an Associates of Applied Science in Engineering, Drafting, and Machine Manufacturing.
Royden is an Industrial Designer with a passion for all aspects of the design process from initial Idea to hands on fabrication and manufacturing. With experience in industries such as Oil and Gas, Subsea, Architectural, Civil, Automotive, engineering and design, he enjoys applying a wider perspective learned from other fields to come up with unique solutions to projects. Royden has been a member of the Houston IDSA chapter for several years and is eager to be a part of the Boston Chapter and help it reach new heights.
