Fueled by an endless curiosity about how the world around her works, Áine Tobin is a newly-Boston-based industrial designer who equally loves elegant design and refined implementation. She is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, where she obtained a BFA in Industrial Design. In her design work, Áine strives to create technically precise yet stunningly simple designs and experiences that enrich lives. She enjoys a wide variety of design disciplines and roles, including product, graphic, furniture, & interior design, and project management.
Whether in her long days as a designer/manager in the corporate world, or in her current freelance creative designer role, Áine specializes in synthesizing large amounts of information and requirements into effective outcomes. She previously worked for AriZona Beverage Company, designing and managing a wide range of creative projects at multiple company sites throughout the Northeast, most notably leading project management of an interactive visitor center facility. Her experience has informed her through all stages of the design process, with project execution and management being of particular interest.
Áine firmly believes in the power of products as solutions. She understands and embraces the unique responsibility designers have in shaping the future by creating sustainable, thoughtful designs.
